Most printer manufacturers STRONGLY recommend that you do not remove the inkjet printer cartridge after initial installation, unless the cartridge requires replacement.
Removing the cartridge may result in ink leakage, damage to the printer, and is also highly likely to introduce air to the print heads, which can be detrimental to the expensive print head.
